Thief Stole Food And Hat
St. Louis, Jan 17, 1904
William Bleyer believes that the thief who visited his home at No. 4451 Washington avenue, was hungry and hatless, judging from the articles stolen.
Despite the fact that solid silver knives, forks and spoons were at hand, the thief paid no attention to them and took only butter, half a dozen lamb chops, several slices of bacon and some liver from the ice chest.
Then going to the hall, he took Mr. Bleyer's derby hat off the hall rack, but left two or three coats and umbrellas undisturbed.Posted 07-07-2021 at 11:30 AM by aliasfinn -
