Being the one who is in the waiting room.

Actually that is not true but it just feels like the waiting is worse than the surgery itself but we all know that is not a true fact.

So here I sit today in the waiting room for the outpatient surgery center and my Husband is currently in surgery. We had to get up at 3:00am, get showered, dressed and drive and hour to get here. Arrival time was 4:45am with appointment time at 5:00am and we beat the staff in...LOL

I am not a big shopper so for me to go shopping means we need something or I really just want something. It also means my husband and I have talked about this want and decided it was something that we would like to do so when I come across the item I will make the purchase.

This particular item is a chair, not a special chair just a chair. I'll have to digress a bit though so you understand why a chair became a want.
We live in a smaller home which is fine we both like it...

It is a beautiful day, the sun is out, sky is clear, a wee bit of a breeze and today is also the day my Parents got married in 1959; thank goodness their marriage did not last at all. They have been divorced since 1971 which means they were married much too long and he died 12 years ago which means he lived much too long. That is another story in and of itself that no one really wants to read about. So, moving on....

I have not felt well the last two days but today I feel much better...

The last couple weeks have been extremely busy for me plus there have been a few days that I have not felt well which is normal for me. I had to drive a couple hours one day to the state next to us to get some business taken care of which I did. Then I got lost and I was hungry so I stopped at a corner diner looking place and was pleasantly surprised. Why is it called Fat Tuesday? I know that answer and it is appropriate, it is the last day before the start of Lent. Which means it is the last day to "get fat" before Lent when so many traditionally fasted at times throughout Lent and Lent starts tomorrow which is Ash Wednesday. I don't know all the rules from the beginning of Fat Tuesday, Ash Wednesday and the upcoming Good Friday but I do know I will not be partaking in the eating of fish on Friday's from now until Easter.
