I am not a pessimist but sometimes feel that technology is running at a faster pace than humans can cope with it. I see overwhelming challenges that humanity is facing today.

I think the evolution of human is growing in a horizontal way but it is not vertical. Much of the human society is driven by violence, greed and other baser motives. We still resort to war as a way of resolving conflict. It just does not add up. There is some serious flaw that they are not able to overcome.
