OK, we have the front of the Coif done.
It took 22 individual 'strings' to make it, plus the connectors.
So, it takes 59 'rings' to make a string, and 20 rings to connect them... which adds up to a grand total of 1,738 rings!! Oh my aching hands Cutting each one out, with small nippers, yea, that can cause anyones hands to ache.

Now, as we see it, we have to make at least 4 more sets of that 'fabric'. One for the back, one for the side (one should take care of...

Yesterday wasnt much of a day... Didnt do much except work on the chain mail for my Son. Its starting to look like a 'fabric' of metal now... Still, my hands are getting cramped from clipping those 'rings' out that he winds on a dowel rod, about 200 per 'load'. I have a blister on one hand, and my other one is almost refusing to cooperate anymore LOL
I may have to let off for a few days, and let my hands get the crampness out of them. (Yea, I know I can wear gloves, but, I choose...

Another successful day of exercise. I hit ten machines today, so, my Wife is happy about that one. Also, I made sure to do 'light weights' so I could get through them all. Though, I did get tired toward the end, I kept at it until I got my second wind and was able to do them all. I did do my 1000 reps of abdominals, but, I stayed at 100 and 110 pounds, instead of trying to go higher and slowing down to a crawl.

Now, Im home and making 'chain mail' for my son LOL. Yea, its a neat...

We got word, Barbara and the family are up in Pittsburgh, trying to face the hard decision they have to make. They are going to take their Son off the machines...(apparently they didnt cut off his arms and his hands are stinking and putrifying). He is brain dead...There is no coming back from that.

I went to my exercise session after all, yesterday. Thing was, I wasnt really 'mentally prepared' for it. I was whipped after doing only 800 crunches, instead of my usual thousand. (I had a guy ask me how many I do, and when I told him I usually do a thousand, he looked at me like I was 'nuts'...uh, I told him I was trying to get the weight off, and thats what I needed to do! sheesh).
