Christmas has come and gone...

My Son bought me a new pistol!
9mm, now I can put it by my bedside and keep the chamber 'empty', so that I dont have a repeat of the derringer I bought, and my Wife accidently discharged while cleaning. She can 'see' this huge thing on my table, and wont touch it.

I hope that I never have to use it on a burglar, or intruder, but, its nice to know that its there and I have something in the house to counter danger if it appears....

Thanksgiving has gone by the way, the blessings have been said and gone. My Wife has taken down the decorations for the festive holiday for turkey day, and now, I await the next seasonal change in the holiday routine.

Christmas time is a big time around our home, with every door frame decorated with garland, and bows everywhere, and Santa faces abound galore LOL... It sure brightens up my mood for the winter months
I reckon I will have to wait til my Wife starts moving the...

Well, my neighbor died. He was 97 years old, and voluntarily spent the last three years in a nursing home! (He wanted all the attention that he could get, by waiting in the lobby and saying hello to everyone LOL).

Nice guy, really, to everyone but his sons? Never understood why he set his youngest boy up to fail.

I notice my hands and arms are starting to wrinkle up. Not drinking enough fluids...
Weight is down to 370.5 pounds now, course, thats when I dont...

My Daughter is bringing her boyfriend over for supper tonight. She tells me that, "he isnt the one", so, why invest so much time with him then?

Course, truth be told, I didnt know, until I got on a jealousy kick, that, my wife wasnt the one either LOL.

Wife brought in the biggest nectarines that I have ever laid eyes on! Bought six of them for six bucks, and, given another two days, they should be perfect to eat. Now, hard to chew, but still flavor full....

Reading E-Books from the Public Library now.
Just cant figure out how to return the silly thing, so, I have to wait til it expires in 21 days and it dissapears from my computer.

Yes its been awhile since I posted, so, just catching up a wee bit.

Got four bushels of tomatoes and canned them. Bout 71 and a half quart jars full of delicious tomatoes for Winter time.

Computer fried the hard drive on me, and I had to get another hard drive, as well...
