looking to relocate to tennessee. Want small semi-rural town with beautiful scenery and lots of outdoor things to do. children are grown and hoping exhusband will return. he is retired and we had always planned to retire to TN. Do not want to live in a "gated retirement community" but would like something similar but not too close to neighbors. want to continue to work in medical or EMS career. Any suggestions for small towns. Something outside of Knoxville has been suggested to me...
