Debbie's Diner - New Location

Posted 03-01-2009 at 11:45 AM by loulamb (Lou's Rock Hill area bar and restaurant blog)

One of our favorite breakfast spots has moved to a new location. Seems to be a lot of that going around...Debbie's Diner is now located on Herlong, across from Fatz. We went there on their opening day, and were happy with the service and the food. While the grits could use some improvement, everything else was great. Nice atmosphere, and lots of room to stretch out.

The owners have retained the old location on Ebenezer as The End Zone sports bar. (Live music every weekend!)

Eat Well Restaurant

Posted 09-06-2008 at 06:49 PM by loulamb (Lou's Rock Hill area bar and restaurant blog)

Today's Saturday breakfast was at Eat Well (1919 Cherry Rd. Rock Hill), which is the site of the old Pizza Inn. While pricier than many other options, it's still a good value, and the staff was very accomodating to our party of 6. Service was a bit slow, but attentive. They took great pains to make sure that all of our orders were brought out together, even involving a run to the store for blueberries! The food was "home cooking", with real home fries, for example, not frozen shredded...

The Little Cafe

Posted 09-05-2008 at 11:26 AM by loulamb (Lou's Rock Hill area bar and restaurant blog)

The Little Cafe on Mt. Gallant Rd in Rock Hill has turned into a favorite place for Saturday breakfast with friends. Service is friendly and attentive, food is good, only drawback being the size of the place...it's a Little Cafe after all! Seriously, the most that can share one table is 5, due to the setup.
