OASDI Trust Fund

And now the OASI Trust Fund.






This is actually the combined OASDI Trust Funds. Yes, the DI Trust Fund will be history (shortly) but they'll just combine both functions for payment purposes (and that's one of the things that will cause the trust fund to fail faster).

Under the High-Cost Assumptions, the fail date is 2nd/3rd Quarter 2018 and 3rd/4th Quarter under your average GDP growth rate of 2.89%.

Taxes collected stand at $172 Billion including October's estimate and that gives you 2 months to find $35 Billion somewhere

Okay, the CPI-W came in at 228.184 for September.

That would be less than the 229 I was guestimating, in part because of this...

Electricity -1.5

...so electric rates in the
US declined (we're just not sure where that actually happened). It stacks up like this....
