This morning, we had a blood moon in our skies in the pre-dawn hours before the most important midterm elections to take place in our lifetimes. For some time, it didn't look like Joyland Amusement Park in Lubbock would have any future at all. Staffing issues and rampant vandalism were cause for concern to the owners of the park, prompting rumors that the place will be closing after the 2022 season.
