Trust

Trust is something that is extremely difficult to come by anymore. Over the past 50 yrs I've tried to be a kind and trusting soul. It has never pd off. Every time I trust someone I get hurt. And every time I get hurt I'm reminded why I shouldn't trust people at all anymore. I don't think God designed us to be alone for all eternity. But that's how it's beginning to look here for me.

I know several people who have moved from LA to Phoenix. The main reason? It's less expensive.

I've only completed 5 books in 2021!! My goal is to complete 200 books. Warren Buffett's advice to read 200 books annually has lingered since I first learned of it in 2017. In 2017, I read 97 books. I thought it best to work my way up to 200 books once I surpassed reading 100 books. So this will be the year I achieve it. Still hope exists. The first 5 books didn't thrill me and that's never a pleasant experience: reading a book you don't like. But this 6th book has diced the reading slump. Yea!!...
