This major leaguer grew up just a few miles from me. He was drafted in 2007 in the June Amateur Draft but has really come a very long way. Flower Mound, Texas, ought to be monumentally proud that Ryan Pressly is now pitching in the World Series for the Houston Astros.

We'll all be watching as Pressly will be representing Texas as Houston also represents the Lone Star State in their best-of-7 against the Atlanta Braves. As the Astros' closer out of the bullpen the last...
