1 Corinthians 4:20 - "For the kingdom of God does not consist in words, but in power."

We cannot be witnesses of the Almighty God without power. When we think of power we often think of miracles, but they are only one example of God's power, not the very essence of it.
The essence of God's power is the life of God. This is why the author of the book of Hebrews explains that the Lord's priesthood is based on "the power of an indestructible life"...

Years ago, I made a prediction that the next QuikTrip that gets built in the state of Texas and outside of Dallas-Fort Worth would be in.......

As Believers in Jesus, we have been issued an invitation to live a life of holiness before God – to be set apart like He is. To be totally and radically different than the world. The power of the Spirit enables us to live "set apart" to God.

God has not called us to dry religion but the living waters...

People can just say anything to get elected. Next year's events will certainly give Americans an eyeful and earful of such displays. You'll see and hear things from both sides. At stake won't just be a vote for a president or congresspeeps or senators or governors or other things. What's at stake is the greatest nation on this Earth at a crossroads between those wanting to preserve it and those who want to change it into something it wasn't designed to be.
