Support Your Adopted Child To Overcome Past Trauma

Patience and love when dealing with an adopted child’s trauma goes a long way. Children are different but the basics to dealing with their trauma is to create strong and secure foundation for them. Making them feel loved and treasured helps create emotion bonds that are for life.
Children should be handled with sensitivity and responsiveness. Be sensitive and open to their heartaches and respond with love and care. Do not be judgmental and they will be more open in sharing the trauma...
