Peace be on you. To make partners with God, is the greatest falsehood, according to Holy Quran. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) was commanded to announce:

‘Tell them I am but a man like unto you; it is revealed to me that your God is One God. So let him who hopes to meet his Lord work righteousness and let him associate no one in worship of his Lord.’ (18:111)

Similarly Unity of God was announced by all Prophets.

Peace be on you. Holy Quran has used four different words for the deities of those who takes partners with God. These words are Nidd, Shareek, Elah, and Rabb.

1- Nidd: It is worshipped and considered as a Being like the Being of God. For example, Christains believe a human (actally a Prophet) as part of God (in one way or other). Parsees believe in two gods, one is god of light, the other is god of darkness.
