Everybody who moves to Florida thinks they will love it and moving there will improve their lives. They disrupt their life, relationships, and everything they have now and spend lots of money to move to Florida.
BUT:
From 2000 to 2009 a yearly average of
851,262 people moved to Florida
479,586 People moved out

Want to know why almost a half million people leave Florida every year?

I should probably keep this a secret because I don't want to be bothered by representatives from the Today Show or Oprah wanting me to appear on TV (OK OK I don't watch much TV and don't know what's on except the Eagles, and I might stop that since they look like they belong on the pee...

A post about gardening (in Florida) con't

Posted 09-04-2011 at 08:44 AM by alfbroker (Moving to Florida? 50% love it, 50% hate it, move out!)

So anyway, after only being in my new home in Florida for a few days I noticed that not only was my hair color different from all my neighbors but they all drove huge American make cars and had gardens and I didn't.

I have the feeling that I may be the only one reading my blog, and possibly my moderator. So in an attempt to increase it's readership I mentioned to both my son who is going to law school now (closing in on 10 years of post high school education) and my parents that I had embarked on a gardening blog adventure and would appreciate their support.

Judging from the sudden and prolonged uncontrolled laughter from my son and the long uncomfortable two minute silence from my parents, I think...

A post about gardening

Posted 08-28-2011 at 02:29 PM by alfbroker (Moving to Florida? 50% love it, 50% hate it, move out!)
Updated 08-28-2011 at 02:33 PM by alfbroker (missing word)

After having 3 posts deleted, the moderator patiently explained to me again what is advertising and what it not. Obviously I did not get it the first few times. I was told I can post about gardening for example, because I don't have a business related to that. A couple of weeks goes by.

So for whatever reason this thought pops into my head. I have a few spare minutes. I have attempted gardening on numerous occasions so why not write a blog about it? I do have a few soilly (not a real...
