The Charlotte - Mecklenburg Housing market seems to be coming back to life according to some recent reports that have come across my sites. It's very exciting because homeowners have felt hopeless for quite a long time but now with the updated stats homeowners now have something to look forward too.

Homes are selling for more than they were in the past 5 years not quite as for the same amount of money but a quick sale is what homeowners are looking for in this market especially...

Improvement in the Charlotte Housing Market End of 2010

The past few months I have been blogging about the Charlotte housing market. The months of October and November of 2010 was showing that the market was doing pretty horribly, but looking at the last month of the year the housing sales went up 22% from 1474 homes sold in November to 1885 homes sold in the month of December.

That boost on the outside shows that the market is improving somewhat but the value of homes dropped a staggering 10%...

Just like last month, the average sales prices of homes in Charlotte, North Carolina increased. The increase is accurate with the media report of home value increases. The market increased in sales price by 6% to $215,000 up from $202,000 on average. In fact this years average sales for November are up from last years average sales price of $195,244.

The home value increase would lead you to believe that housing crisis is just about over,...

Right now the Charlotte-Mecklenburg real estate market is a mess and it doesn't seem to be getting better at the moment at least. Looking at the stats for Oct of 2009 there were about 2,200 houses sold on the versus about 1,700 in Oct of 2010. The % of Listing Price/Sale was 90% in Oct of 09 versus about 87% Oct this year.
