BIRD REPTD AS "COULD NOT MAKE OUT TYPE BUT IT LOOKED LIKE HALF THE SIZE OF A BOWLING PIN WITH A WHITE BELLY. IT ALL HAPPENED SO FAST.

THIS COMPANY HAS HAD SEVERAL GULL STRIKES HERE IN THE PAST 3 YEARS, 2 OF WHICH CAUSED CONSIDERABLE DAMAGE (OVER $49,000). VILLAGE OF MUNSTER CLAIMS THE DUMP HAS BEEN THERE FOR OVER 50 YEARS, HOWEVER, AN ACQUAINTANCE WHO HAS LIVED HERE SINCE 1925 & HAS BEEN INVOLVED WITH THE ARPT SINCE 1926 HAS NO KNOWLEDGE OF THIS DUMP PRIOR TO THE BUILDING OF THE ARPT.
