  • High Priority - Employee failed to wash hands before putting on gloves to work with food. Observed employee engaged in cashing out a customer at the register and then put on gloves to engage in food prep without washing hands.
  • Intermediate - Accumulation of brown/tan foamy-type substance in the interior of the ice machine. Observed along the ice chute in the interior.
  • Intermediate - Proof of required state approved employee training not available for some employees. To order approved program food safety material, call DBPR's contracted provider: Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association (SafeStaff) 866-372-7233. Observed SafeStaff certificates on file in the office but none for anyone on shift at time of inspection. Observed the following employees engaged in food prep during inspection: Addison employed about 2 years, Tenille about 3 months, Mark about 8-9 years and Priscilla about 3-4 months.
