  Neither the Certified Food Protection Manager certificate issued by the DC Department of Health nor the establishment's business license are conspicuously posted in the establishment. These items are in a frame behind the counter and can not be easily viewed. (Corrected On Site)

  The establishment does not have an employee health policy for the prevention of foodborne illnesses. I provided the person in charge with a copy of the DC Food Code employee medical referral, interview and reporting agreement forms. (CORRECT VIOLATION WITHIN 5 CALENDAR DAYS)

  There are gaps in the baseboard in the toilet room. There is a crack in the concrete floor near the front door. A noticeable gap exists under the rear door.   The establishment has installed a garbage disposal unit however it is directly connected to the 3-compartment sink's drain and needs to be plumbed separately. (CORRECT VIOLATION WITHIN 5 CALENDAR DAYS)

  The self-closing device on the toilet room needs to be adjusted because the toilet room is not closing tightly. (CORRECT VIOLATION WITHIN 45 CALENDAR DAYS)

  An old grease trap that will no longer be used is stored outdoors behind the establishment. There are various items in the basement that are not in use and the basement is quite cluttered. Cans of paint are stored in the cabinets in the deli area. (CORRECT VIOLATION WITHIN 45 CALENDAR DAYS)
