Wildhaven Ranch

The Wildhaven Ranch is located in Lake Arrowhead and offers a safe place for healing and rehabilitation for animals. The motto of the ranch is "Preserving wildlife helps heal the human spirit," and they bring this motto to life through their educational programs and special events. The ranch enables people in the area to visit endangered and indigenous wild animals in the San Bernardino Mountains. The ranch is located on 35 acres and relies on its staff and volunteers to care for the animals and keep the facility clean, healthy and well-equipped. The environment of the Wildhaven is meant to be protective and animals enjoy nurturing, rehabilitation and reintroduction into wild life. The ranch is also home to the Center for Learning, where school groups, visitors and area residents can learn about wild life and the creatures in the area. Animals that are not up to being reintroduced into the wild remain at the ranch sanctuary where they can continue to lead happy, safe lives. The resident animals participate in the educational programs and enjoy their lives on the ranch. Special programs at the ranch include Paws and Claws, Operation Waterfowl, Wings and Things and Work on the Wild Side.
