Lake San Antonio, Monterey


Known for its pristine waters, Lake San Antonio's fresh water attracts visitors from up and down the coast of California as well as abroad.

Activities are available year round and include waterskiing, fishing, camping, picnicking, hiking, swimming, and boating. The 17-mile-long lake has 65 miles of shoreline, over 2000 campsites, and is one of the largest campgrounds in the state of California. The fishing at Lake San Antonio receives notability as some of the best in the state. Fishermen might snatch bass, giant goldfish, catfish, crappie, or bluegill out of the lake.

Lake San Antonio Resort offers 16 Rental Units overlooking the lake. The units, in a variety of sizes, sleep from one to twelve guests. They also have a grocery store, game room with pool table, and café for guests to enjoy. For a more extravagant stay, visitors can rent the 59-foot Forever Houseboat and enjoy luxury while on the lake.

Lake San Antonio, located at 74255 San Antonio Rd, Bradley, CA, is scenic 3- or 4-hour drive north from Los Angeles International Airport or south from San Francisco International Airport. Alternatively, visitors can fly into the Monterey Peninsula Airport, serving local destinations. Within 30 miles visitors can reach other attractions, such as Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary, San Miguel Mission Parish, and Hearst Castle.:
