Lake Forest Beach

Located in the center of Orange County, CA, Lake Forest takes its name from the two man-made lakes within the city limits.

The forest after which the city takes its name consists mostly of Eucalyptus trees and lies between Ridge Route, Jeronimo, Lake Forest, and Serrano Roads. Lake Forest was ranked as one of the safest cities in the United States.

The land was originally settled by Don Jose Serrano in 1846 after being granted the land by the Mexican government. The area was later named El Toro after the bulls that Don Serrano ranched here.

Incorporated in 1991, the city takes care to evolve in a way that meets the needs of the current residents as well as the future. Lake Forest keeps a small-town feel while maintaining the convenience of a larger metropolitan area. The Whiting Ranch Regional Wilderness Park, along with twenty public parks, provides plenty of outdoor recreation.

The Lake Forest Beach and Tennis Club features tennis courts, gyms, basketball courts, barbecue pits, volleyball courts, swimming pools, saunas, and hot tubs. The club serves members only, but occasionally holds public events.

Lake Forest is a one-hour drive from the Los Angeles International Airport. Lake Forest is situated close to many public parks, golf courses, and recreation areas.
