    Observation: Consumer self-dispensing bulk food bin containing three varieties of cereal were not observed to have a labal.
    Correction: Bulk food that is available for consumer self-dispensing shall be prominently labeled with the following information in plain view of the consumer: 1. the manufacturer's or processor's label that was provided with the food or, 2. a card, sign, or other method of notification that includes the information specified in this section.
  • Non-Food Contact Surfaces
    Observation: The nonfood contact surface of the area surrounding the nozzles on the juice dispenser has accumulations of grime and debris.
    Correction: Clean the surface at a frequency necessary to preclude accumulation of soil residues that become encrusted or attract insects and rodents.
  • Physical Facilities in Good Repair
    Observation: Observed a large hole in the wall behind the three compartment sink.
    Correction: Maintain physical facilities in good repair. Poor repair and maintenance compromises the functionality of the physical facilities.

Inspection conducted due to a change in ownership.
Per conversation with the Person in Charge, menu will be reduced under new ownership. Recommend removing equipment which will no longer be used.
Facility is within substantial compliance with the Virginia Department of Health Food Regulations, therefore permit is issued.
This report will serve as your permit until the official copy may be sent to you.
Facility will be using Time as a Public Health Control for waffle batter. Forms will be sent to facility for completion.
  • Physical Facilities in Good Repair
    Observation: The wall behind the prep table is no longer smooth and easily cleanable.
    Correction: Re-surface or re-paint wall behind prep table.
