Observation: The handwashing facility located in the kitchen is blocked, preventing access by employees for easy handwashing. Just received a shipment and lemons were in sink and boxes of coffee were also blocking sink.
Correction: Access to the handwashing facility identified above is to be available during all hours of operation. Remove the items preventing its use. Sink cleared for use during inspection.

Observation: Food stored on the floor or food stored less than 6" above the floor. Boxes containing cereal are being stored on crates that can't be cleaned under. ;Elevate food storage onto approved shelving with minimum 6" legs or casters.

Observation: Single-service or single-use items found stored under the hand sink plumbing.
Correction: Discontinue storage of clean equipment and utensils in a location subject to contamination. Single service plates removed from underneath the sink during inspection.

Observation: In use open drinking containers stored in a manner that may contaminate food, food contact surfaces or utensils. Open drink on food counter.
Correction: Employees may drink from a closed beverage container if the container is handled to prevent contamination of (1) The employee's hands (2) The container and (3) Exposed food clean equipment, utensils, and linens and unwrapped single-service and single-use articles.
- Food Storage - Clean and Dry Location
Observation: Food stored on the floor or food stored less than 6" above the floor. Fruit boxes and boxes containing cereal are being stored on the floor. ;Elevate food storage onto approved shelving with minimum 6" legs or casters.
- Critical: Food - Potentially Hazardous Food - Cold Holding*
Observation: Cold holding at improper temperatures: only 1 refrigerator available and this is overfilled. Butter that has been in refrigerator is 44 F, yogurt 47 F. Most food was just received and is in temperature. Refrigerator door has been opened a lot this morning.
Correction: Cold hold potentially hazardous food at 41°F or below to inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria. Monitor temperature of food after refrigerator door has been shut for an extended period of time to make sure food can stay at 41 F or below. Need to provide another refrigeration unit or replace this unit with a larger one.

Correction: Access to the handwashing facility identified above is to be available during all hours of operation. Remove the food preventing its use. Food was recently received and placed in and around hand sink before being put away. Food put away and hand sink cleared during inspection.
- Handwashing Cleanser - Availability (corrected on site)
Observation: Soap was not provided at the hand washing lavatory in the kitchen.
Correction: Hand soap must be provided at all hand washing lavatories to encourage proper hand washing. Hand cleanser must always be present to aid in reducing microorganisms and particulate matter found on hands.
- Hand Drying Provision
Observation: No disposable towels were provided at the hand washing lavatory in the kitchen.
Correction: Hand drying devices such as individual disposable paper towels, a continuous towel system that supplies the user with a clean towel or heated air hand drying device must be provided at all hand washing lavatories to encourage proper hand washing and avoid employees to drying their hands on their clothing or other unclean materials
