Food sales totaled $4.3 billion, while general merchandise sales totaled $4.2 billion. The value of foreign exports produced within Oklahoma in 1998 was $2.9 billion. Major exports included industrial machinery (33%) to Europe, and transportation equipment (20%) to Canada.
