Description: Just 20 minutes north of Madison across the Wisconsin River, River Arts Center serves as a high quality performance venue for Sauk City and Prairie du Sac. Throughout the year a variety of shows is presented in the 492-seat theater as are several exhibitions in the gallery space. Works by the high school drama department and the community-based Sauk Prairie Theatre Guild are part of the lineup mixed in with visiting productions and musical and dance performances.
