Description: McFarland serves 2,100 students in its six schools. The district includes one high school, one middle school, two elementary schools dividing grades 1 through 5, an early learning center, and a charter school. Over 70% of their K through 8 students participate in the summer school program. The district has frequently been acknowledged for achieving the highest score in reading at the third-grade level in the state. Description: Though the names have changed, the place remains the same: a popular country and western nightclub. Set in a 1928 building, the bar also serves lunch from a menu of burgers and hot and cold sandwiches with deep-fried sides all at slightly cheaper outside-of-Madison prices. Live country bands typically play on Thurs, Fri, or Sat and often there’s no cover charge. On Sun stop in for breakfast featuring biscuits and gravy and a Bloody Mary bar. Located a few minutes east of Madison just north off of US 12/18. Open daily.
