Devils Tower National Monument Climbing Handbook, by Guilmette, Carrier, and Gardiner, lists more than 200 routes. Among the most popular are Durrance (5.7), Soler (5.7), Walt Bailey Memorial (5.9), and Matador (5.11). Climbers are asked to refrain from climbing here in June out of respect for Native American religious observances. However, many guide services ignore the voluntary ban.
