Description: Reasonably priced and not stuffy, Café Monte serves classic French country favorites from breakfast through dinner. The eatery has a Parisian feel with French artwork throughout, cobblestone marble flooring in the serving area, and heart of pine flooring in the dining area. There is also a large farm table for families and parties. All breads, croissants, and crepes are baked fresh daily, and the café also features tasty pastry from Amelie’s, a local French bakery located in NoDa. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner Mon through Sat, and for brunch on Sun. Online reservations available.

This restaurant, which cost millions to build, has everything from floor-to-ceiling windows to its own elevator and escalator. It definitely exudes the “wow” factor. The pricey menu provides a top selection of meats and seafood, headlined by the prime beef. It’s the ideal place to celebrate a major business deal or impress the heck out of a special lady. The staff reserves certain “power” tables for Charlotte’s elite. Open for dinner seven days a week. Reservations suggested.

Here you’ll find Talbot’s, Mack and Mack, and Oilily for the latest in fashion apparel. Elizabeth Bruns offers exquisite jewelry and china, and Williams-Sonoma has a wonderful gourmet kitchenware selection. Nesting sells everything you need to create the baby room of your dreams. Specialty Shops also has a great day spa, Charles Grayson. Fine dining choices include Café’ Monte French Bakery & Bistro; Frank Manzetti’s, a classic American grill; BrickTops, a sophisticated American bistro; and Toscana Ristorante Italiano.
