Description: Founded in 1946, the Fuller Craft Museum is New England’s home for contemporary crafts. The museum’s motto, “Let the art touch you,” is evident everywhere. It’s a dramatic campus both outdoors and in, with 22 acres of woodlands and modern, light-filled galleries. Throughout the year, works from the permanent collection share space with changing exhibits that are often built around an individual artist or a single theme. You might catch a show on cutting-edge ceramics or an exhibition of contemporary blacksmithing. The museum also offers a number of workshops throughout the year for adults and kids. And the museum gift shop is extraordinary, filled with museum-quality craft art pieces and whimsical jewelry. Closed Mon.
