Description: All lads and lassies are invited to attend this Scottish heritage and culture event. Hear the skirling of the bagpipes, visit clan tents, investigate vendors’ booths, and eat a Highland beef burger. Other events include a 1-mile Celtic run, Highland games demonstrations, a children’s area with a hayride, live music, a Border Collie herding show, and the boniest knee contest. Admission is free but there is a fee for parking. To arrive at Scottish Farms, drive east on I-20 and take exit 49. Turn left onto LA 531. After about 3 miles, take a slight right onto West Homer Road/US 79; you will see Scottish Farms on the right. After this day’s adventure you may feel “a wee bit taird with the need to sit doun an rest.”
