Description: This par 72 course measures 6,365 yards, and while the overall length isn’t that long, it is formidable. For duffers, the better word might be difficult. It’s not that the course isn’t beautiful—it is. You see, there are large trees dotting the fairways and many other hazards. There are also wonderful ocean breezes . . . wonderful when your opponent is at the tee and you’ve already placed your ball on the green.Monday through Thursday fees are $34; the shared cart (mandatory on holidays and weekends) is $10 for each player. Friday greens fees are $36; Saturday, Sunday, and holiday fees are $64, including the required cart. There’s a pro shop where lessons are offered, as well as a driving range and putting greens.The signature hole is the 15th. It’s long and narrow and deceptive. Just when you think everything is perfect, a caboose gets in your way. Yes, a train caboose is on the golf course with a resort sign attached. With the wonderful breeze, your ball could be swept straight at that obstacle. Trust us on this one.
