The seller Akberet Tella tried to scam me out of my money while trying to use Venmo as a method of purchase. I tried to order Boba through Venmo, which I repeatedly asked her for her verification to make sure I was sending my money to the correct person. She tried to tell me that I sent my money to the wrong person at first, but once she verified that it was her, she told me I couldn’t get the product I paid for because she “didn’t get the money.” I had to wait for another 15 minutes to the side while other buyers purchased ice cream, meanwhile the money was already taken from my account. Then, she tried to frame me as if I was trying to trick her, and she told me that she wanted me to use CashApp to pay and not Venmo, even though I repeatedly asked her if Venmo was okay to pay. I was finally able to get my Boba at the end of the day because a crowd of customers started piling up, but then she started speaking about me to the next customer as I was walking away, telling them about how I tried to trick her. Overall, this was a very terrible experience, and I don’t think this seller is suitable to be selling products to customers if she is unable to communicate effectively with her customers and make sure the transactions are efficient.
