ALL PRESSURES AND TEMP NORMAL. REMOVED COWLINGS TO BE CLEANED AND ENG INSPECTED, A SMALL BIRD (APPROX 12 IN WINGSPAN) FOUND DISFIGURED BTWN CYLINDERS 6 AND 4 DIRECTLY BEHIND AND JUST AFT OF OIL CAP. PARTIES AT AHND (OTHER PILOTS, A&P) AGREED THE CAP WHICH WAS CONFIRMED ON AND SECURE JUST BEFORE FLT TWICE, HAD BEEN HIT BY THE BIRD AND REMOVED FROM ITS SEAL.
