CFM present during inspection. Only three service workers had valid food service cards. CFM assured EHS that he will make sure all food handlers do the on-line training. CFM informed EHS that it might take another two weeks to get the sneeze guard for the salad bar and he is working on providing plate racks for the plates at the salad bar. The environment was clean and organized.

Salad bar in need of proper documentation for using time as a public health control for food items. There also has to be information on food allergies on display at the salad bar. Salad bar buffet should have an employee monitoring it at all hours of operation. Manager said that they are in the process of constructing a sneeze guard for the salad bar. Recommended to Manager to transfer Servesafe certificate over to the Norfolk CFM. Recommended a cleaning schedule be set up for the cleaning of the microwave and ice machine to ensure that it gets cleaned.Talked to manager about replacing burnt out light bulbs noticed during the reinspection. Also recommended that the manager designate an area for staff to place personal items and food to avoid mixing items with commercialized food items.
