Observation: Trash and litter were observed adjacent to the refuse container outside the facility. Numerous trash was observed throughout parking area. Other businesses in complex have also been made aware of problem in shared parking area.
Correction: The refuse container storage area and grounds adjacent to the container are to be maintained clean and sanitary.

All critical observations have been corrected. Freon was added to the unit and is now cold holding at the proper temperature. Unit was recently stocked, temperatures were taken of items that were stocked the day before to verify proper cold holding temperatures.

Observation: The nonfood contact surface of the shelving for utensils is not corrosion resistant, nonabsorbent, and/or smooth. Flattened cardboard boxes were observed laying on top of shelving where pans and utensils are stored. Flattened cardboard boxes were used to cover the flooring in the walk-in refrigeration unit.
Correction: Nonfood contact equipment that is exposed to splash, spillage, food soiling, or requires frequent cleaning must be smooth, durable, and nonabsorbent.

Obtain drain plugs for three compartment sink. Obtain a drain plug for outside waste receptacle. Permit Issued. After the refrigeration unit condenser is cleaned and unit is properly cold holding call 757-253-4289.

Correction: Store food where it is not exposed to splash or install an approved durable, and cleanable barrier between the splash source and the food to prevent contamination.

Observation: Refrigeration unit (first on the line) cold holding at improper temperatures of 55°F.
Correction: Relocate food to a refrigeration unit that is capable of maintaining food storage at 41°F or below. The owner had a refrigeration repair man come out to fix the unit while the inspection was in progress.
