Observation: Containers of cleaners are not stored separately from insecticides in the chemical storage closet. Observed a can of insect spray (spiders & hornets) for outdoor use only stored with the cleaners. The person in charge (PIC) removed the spray from the closet.
Correction: Store detergents, sanitizers, related cleaning or drying agents and caustics, acids, polishes and other chemicals separately from insecticides and rodenticides.

Observation: The nonfood contact surfaces of the dry storage shelving (particle board) is not nonabsorbent, smooth, and easily cleanable.
Correction: Nonfood contact equipment that is exposed to splash, spillage, food soiling, or requires frequent cleaning must be smooth, durable, and nonabsorbent. Seal or replace the shelving.

Observation: The cavity of the microwave oven is observed soiled.
Correction: Using the manufacturer's recommended cleaning procedure, clean the microwave oven at least every 24 hours.

Observation: The food contact equipment surfaces of several muffin pans and several sheet pans is observed soiled with accumulations grease and/or food debris.
Correction: Clean the food contact surfaces of the equipment to prevent accumulations that may reduce heat transfer to adequately cook food and to prevent attract of insects when not in use.

Observation: The nonfood contact surfaces on the interior of the oven have accumulation of grime and debris.
Correction: Clean the surface at a frequency necessary to preclude accumulation of soil residues that become encrusted or attract insects and rodents.
