- Temperature Measuring Devices
Observation: There was no temperature measuring device located in the walk in freezer and or cooler. Could not find a thermometer in either unit .
Correction: Provide a temperature measuring device in all hot or cold holding equipment used to store potentially hazardous foods so that employees can routinely monitor the ambient air temperature.
- Handwashing - Using a Handwashing Lavatory
Observation: The handwashing facility located at the next to the three compartment sink is blocked by a rolling cart preventing access by employees for easy handwashing.
Correction: Access to the handwashing facility identified above is to be available during all hours of operation. Remove the rolling cart so as not to prevent its use.

Contract the Health District when milk cooler # 2 is repaired. Keep up the good work. Note that kitchen is very clean and well run and organized. Staff is knowledgeable about the operation of the kitchen and food handling.

Observation: milk in cooler # 2 at 48 degrees.holding at improper temperatures
Correction: Relocate food to a refrigeration unit that is capable of maintaining food storage at 41°F or below.
- Cooling, Heating, and Holding Capacities (corrected on site)
Observation: Milk cooler # 2 was not at proper temperature to meet the food storage demands of items being cooled. Milk and fruits .
Correction: Remove milk ,salad and fruits and place back in walk-in cooler. Use milk that is at proper temperature. Service cooler so that temperature will mainatin foods at less then 41 degrees. Overstocked equipment does not allow for proper air circulation and/or heat transfer. Improper food storage temperatures are a major contributing factor to foodborne illness.
