The purpose of this visit is a risk factor assessment. No critical violations noted during today's visit. A Complaint inspection was conducted along with this risk factor assessment. The results of the complaint inspection are maintained at the health department. Observed proper reheating and holding of Temperature Control for Safety (TCS) foods. Sanitizer observed at an acceptable level in wiping cloth buckets and three vat sink. Facility has test kit. Employee health policy in place. Suppliers are approved suppliers. Thank you. The purpose of this inspection was to conduct an investigation of a complaint. A customer reported that after drinking a Pina Colada beverage served at this establishment on 9/14/13, she experienced symptoms of diarrhea and stomach cramps within 1.5 hours. The compliant has been discussed with the manager and a Risk Factor Assessment Inspection has been conducted. The risk factor assessment inspection report has been created separately. The manager reported no additional complaints of illness implicating the establishment and no illness among food handlers was received within the past weeks. On 9/14/13, only two pina Colada drinks were served. On the following day, 9/15/13, three were served and three were also served on the day before the implicated date, /9/13/13. Discussion with the manager revealed that a written employee health policy requiring employees to report foodborne illnesses and their symptoms before reporting to work was available. The inspection conducted found no critical violations. Employees on duty at the time of this visit showed no visible signs of cuts, bruises, or infection. Employees were observed washing their hands frequently. The inspection also found food contact surfaces to be visibly cleaned. No violation noted during this evaluation. | 09/19/2013 | Complaint | |
