The pizza make station was serviced and repaired by a technician on Feb. 2, 2016.
This facility is in substantial compliance with the Virginia Food Regulations. Health permit issued.

This inspection was conducted for the change of ownership of the business effective on February 1, 2016.
Observed the employee health policy in the employee handbook that is reviewed with all staff upon being hired and is signed by the staff.
The fire extinguishers were inspected in February 2015. These should be inspected annually and are due for an inspection.
A follow-up inspection is required prior to receiving a health permit to operate the business. The follow-up inspection is scheduled for Feb. 3, 2016.
  • Critical: Food - Potentially Hazardous Food - Cold Holding* (corrected on site)
    Observation: The following foods cold holding at improper temperatures on the pizza make station (top, left hand side): mozzarella cheese-44°F, feta cheese-45°F, ham-47°F, cheddar cheese-48°F. The person in charge (PIC) relocated the foods stored in this area to the walk-in cooler and will use time as a public health control for these foods until the unit is repaired.
    Correction: Cold hold potentially hazardous food at 41°F or below to inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria.
  • Equipment - Fixed Equipment, Spacing or Sealing
    Observation: The handwashing sink located next to the pizza make station is not sealed to adjoining equipment or walls.
    Correction: Seal the unit to adjoining equipment or walls since it is exposed to spillage or seepage.
  • Equipment - Good Repair and Proper Adjustment
    Observation: The top, left hand side of the pizza make station was observed in a state of disrepair (not capable of maintaining foods at or below 41°F).
    Correction: Repair or replace the pizza make station to restore a state of condition that allows for proper operation, accuracy, functioning, maintenance, and cleanability.
  • Handwashing Cleanser - Availability (corrected on site)
    Observation: Soap was not provided (soap dispenser broken) at the hand washing sink located near the 3 compartment sink.
    Correction: Hand soap must be provided at all hand washing lavatories to encourage proper hand washing. Hand cleanser must always be present to aid in reducing microorganisms and particulate matter found on hands.
  • Permits
    Observation: Establishment operating without a valid permit. Permits ar not transferrable from person to person.
    Correction: Cease all food service operations until you receive a permit to operate from the health department.
