    Observation: Sewage disposes of in an unapproved disposal system or discharged improperly. (onsite septic system is failing)
    Correction: All liquid waste is to be disposed of in an approved sewage disposal system, either public or private. (facility has be advised to, and has taken steps to alleviate the situation by pumping the tanks, liming the discharge site, and making connection to Town Sewer System when avaiable (approximately one week)

    Correction: Repair or replace the door gasket in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.

    Observation: Dumpster or outside refuse container was open or uncovered.
    Correction: Cover all waste containers when not in continuous use.
  • Floors, Walls, and Ceilings - Cleanability
    Observation: Floor or floor covering in pass thru from service counter area to main food prep/warewash area is not smooth and easily cleanable. Damaged floor tiles, missing coving tile, non-functional floor drain which allows mop water to pool in floor.
    Correction: Repair or replace floor or floor covering to make it smooth and easily cleanable. Make floor drain functional or seal off, level floor, and re-tile area

facility very clean, excellent food handling practices, food temps all in-spec., personnel and manager very knowledgable and responsive.
  • Mops - Drying Mops
    Observation: Mops not hung up to air dry. (mop hook is not on wall, leaving no place to hang mop)
    Correction: Wet use maintenance items such as mops must be hung in a position that allows them to air dry so they are not allowed to grow contamination which can then be spread through the establishment at the next use. (repair mop hook)
