  • Critical: Time as a Public Health Control* (corrected on site)
    Observation: Observed cooked bacon, shredded lettuce and sliced tomatoes intended to be stored for up to 4 hours at ambient temperature being stored at room temperature under the prep line awaiting use.
    Correction: Items located under prep table were prepped less than an hour prior to health department arrival. Items were removed and placed into walkin cooler and salad prep unit to ensure that all items would cool to 41 degrees prior to placement on the prep line where the time as health control takes place.
  • Temperature Measuring Devices (corrected on site)
    Observation: The temperature measuring device in the under counter reachin at the front counter was not properly located in the warmest part of the unit.
    Correction: Relocate the temperature measuring device to the warmest part of the refrigeration unit to properly represent the ambient air temperature.
  • Temperature Measuring Devices
    Observation: There was no temperature measuring device located in the walkin refrigeration unit, the walkin freezer, the salad prep unit, the french fry reachin and the burger reachin.
    Correction: Provide a temperature measuring device in all hot or cold holding equipment used to store potentially hazardous foods so that employees can routinely monitor the ambient air temperature.
  • Physical Facilities - Cleaning Frequency and Restrictions
    Observation: Observed debris under the dry storage racks and syrup running down the wall in the dry storage area.
    Correction: All floors, walls, and ceilings must be cleaned as often as necessary to keep them clean. Cleaning of the physical facilities is an important measure in ensuring the protection and sanitary preparation of food, as well as preventing harbourage conditions that may lead to pests. A regular cleaning schedule should be established and followed to maintain the facility in a clean and sanitary manner.

- Observed good hand washing and glove use during inspection.
- Under new management. Per manager there may be a remodel in the near future. Please contact Suffolk Health Department prior to remodel.
- Discussed Employee Health and Allergen Awareness flyer with PIC.
- Observed very good time and date labeling.

  • Person in Charge
    Observation: Employees are not properly trained in food safety as it relates to their assigned duties. Many new employees are working without a District Food Handler card.
    Correction: Train all employees in food safety as it relates to their assigned duties.
  • Utensils - In-Use - Between-Use Storage (corrected on site)
    Observation: In-use utensils improperly stored between use. Observed tongs stored on top side of prep unit where frequent sanitization is not being performed.
    Correction: Store in-use utensils or dispensing utensils in one of the following manners: 1) In the food with their handles above the top of the food and the container. 2) In food that is not potentially hazardous with their handles above the top of the food within containers or equipment that can be closed. 3) On a clean portion of the food preparation table or cooking equipment only if the in-use utensil and the food-contact surface of the food preparation table or cooking equipment are cleaned and sanitized every 4 hours. 4) In running water of sufficient velocity to flush particulates to the drain. 5) In a clean, protected location if the utensils are used only with a food that is not potentially hazardous. 6) In a container of water if the water is maintained at a temperature of at least 135°F.
  • Non-Food Contact Surfaces
    Observation: The nonfood contact surface of the floor underneath the units in the kitchen was observed accumulations of grime and debris. Floor drain near drive-thru in need of repair and cleaning also.
    Correction: Clean the surface at a frequency necessary to preclude accumulation of soil residues that become encrusted or attract insects and rodents.

The manger miss Annette is very rude and she have picks at the job they have a new policy about color hair and she's not in forcing the rules and the head manger that own the store was sleepy with a manger that rob the burger king her name was christte moone now his sleeping with another manger Karen funches its a lot of under cover stuff going on in this restaurant he even put a car in his name for a manger
