Concession stand is not operating at time of inspection. Will start seasonal operation Aug. 23, 2014. Make sure kitchen and all food & non food contact surfaces are cleaned and sanitized before operating.
  • Ventilation Hood Systems, Adequacy
    Observation: It appears that foods were being fried on the stove top. Observed large container with oil and fry baskets.
    Correction: No frying is allowed on the stove top. There is no ventilation system to vent grease and heat. (There is also no fire suppression system that is required per the building codes)
  • Critical: Equipment - Food Contact Surfaces and Utensils
    Observation: No sanitizer for sanitizing equipment and food contact surfaces.
    Correction: Supply sanitizer (bleach or quaternary ammonia) so that equipment and surfaces can be properly sanitized.
  • Handwashing - Using a Handwashing Lavatory
    Observation: Equipment stored on hand washing sink.
    Correction: Move equipment and keep hand sink accessible at all times.
  • Hand Drying Provision (repeated violation)
    Observation: No paper towels at handwashing sink.
    Correction: Provide soap and paper towels at all times at the hand sink for proper handwashing.

    Observation: No disposable towels were provided at the hand washing lavatory in the concession area.
    Correction: Hand drying devices such as individual disposable paper towels, a continuous towel system that supplies the user with a clean towel or heated air hand drying device must be provided at all hand washing lavatories to encourage proper hand washing and avoid employees to drying their hands on their clothing or other unclean materials
