Peoria's principal meeting site is the Peoria Civic Center, located in the revitalized downtown district. It features a 12,145-seat arena, 63,668 square feet of exhibit space, and a theater with seating for 2,244 people. Concerts, sporting events, rodeos, ice shows, and operas are among the events held at the Civic Center. Peoria area hotels and motels offer more than 3,000 lodging rooms and also have convention and meeting room facilities.
