Description:
The Literacy Council of Benton County (LCBC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to changing lives through the use of Literacy Programs. We provide training to volunteer tutors who teach our students English. We have programs for Adult Basic Literacy (ABL) and English for Language Learners (ELL). All required materials are provided at no cost to the student and tutor. We also assist students in obtaining their US Citizenship.
We offer many different volunteer opportunities. Some examples are helping out in the front office, working on fundraisers, and of course voluteering as a tutor.
LCBC is currently located at 205 NW A St. just off the square in Bentonville, AR.
