- The Rutland Ponderosa Steak House opened its doors in 1986 and we've been serving the greater Rutland area ever since. Our reputation rests on our continuos delivery of only the highest quality dining experience for you and your family. Ponderosa's menu includes steaks, seafood, and chicken entrees. All entrees come with the buffet as well as choice of potato, or as a platter which includes a salad, fresh roll, and your choice of potato. A lunch menu is also served. While patrons can choose a dinner entree at any time, the lunch menu also includes sandwiches, as well as specially-priced lunch portions of the dinner entrees. In the spring of 2009, we decided it was time to give our guests a whole new dining experience and completely remodeled our interior and exterior. We have received a lot of positive feedback regarding our three new buffets along with our newly extended bakers nook, dessert bar. We offer many options whether you're looking for a delicious 10 oz. Top Sirloin, seared to perfection or want to sample from the vast array of mouth watering foods on our buffet. We are the only place in Rutland, Vermont where you can enjoy both! Friday's 4-10pm All You Can Eat Seafood Buffet, in addition to our regular menu we are now serving brunch on Saturday & Sunday's 10-2pm All You Can Eat.
