Our licensed learning center is designed to make your child feel comfortable as they learn and grow as friendships are made. We have acquired our certification, passed all strict background checks and believe that group play as well as one-on-one attention is needed which is why we believe that having two providers will offer the highest level of care for your child/children. 2 Peas in a Pod is a home away from home with more than 700 square feet of space dedicated to the children. We support a healthy daily routine which consists of play, learning curriculum, naptime, story time, nutritious meals/snacks and most of all FUN! Our infant program is more than naps and feedings. We know that the early years are the most precious for your new baby. 2 Peas in a Pod works with your infant on developing important motor skills, introducing them to colors and shapes and helping them with strengthening their core and muscles for later movement. Story time is also an important part of the day as studies have shown that children should get at least 15 minutes of reading per day as it promotes overall language development. Our toddler program consists of more than playing and watching TV. Although we believe that the day should start and end with imaginative play and that small amounts of educational TV is okay, we encourage children to think and learn as much as possible. 2 Peas in a Pod will be having weekly letter and number recognition in a fun environment including games, fun snacks, and crafts. Story time is also a great time for the toddlers as studies show readiness for school improves through reading. We invite all new parents to come out and tour our facility and get to know us.
