- My specialties are construction, remodeling and restoration. I am located 1 mile east of Howe, Texas, north of Hwy 902, at 3365 Bennett Road and this is my actual work in progress. I am restoring this Victorian residence built in 1900. I have many years of experience in the Dallas metroplex and surrounding areas. I have leveled the house...raising the south end of this residence 5 inches and putting concrete piers to support it. The house actually weighs 150 tons. I have rebuilt the front and back porches and added 2 coats of paint(40 gallons) on all the outside walls. I painted the 4 gables forest green and put matching shutters as a nice contrast to the white house. I rebuilt the second floor balcony and painted it forest green as well. I installed new wood columns on front of the house and painted porch ceilings forest green. I built a beautiful gothic picket fence in front of house and the fence will continue into the backyard. I have also built a two story storage building in the back. I have restored the plumbing including changing a commode and adding ceramic tile around the tub and floor.
