Uncorked is a wine shop, located in a renovated, historic newspaper office, in downtown Buena Vista, Virginia, that promotes and sells "wines for all reasons." Craft and imported beer, gourmet and specialty foods, imported and domestic cheese, whole bean coffee, fine cigars, accessories and custom gift baskets are also part of the unique selection of items offered for sale. Free weekly beer and wine tastings help educate and entertain both local and out-of-town customers and special events are scheduled on a periodic basis, including our monthly Moody Mondays for ladies only. A knowledgeable staff is happy to help with wine/beer and food pairings and suggestions. Our counter-top, made from more than 2,000 wine corks, is the talk of the town. Uncorked is open Monday - Thursday from 10:00 - 6:00; Friday from 10:00 - 7:00; and Saturday from 11:00 - 6:00. Buena Vista is located in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, off of U.S. Route 60 and U.S. 501, 3 miles east of I-81 at Exit 188, and 6 miles east of Lexington. It is approximately 1 hour north of Roanoke, 1 hour south of Harrisonburg, and 1 hour west of Charlottesville.
