--Question ability to cool / store leftover TSC (temperature control for safety) foods. Only two (2) small picnic coolers on hand using ice as a refrigerant available. Owner stated she does not save leftovers, will check tomorrow on leftovers.
- Handwashing Facility - Handwash Cleanser, Hand Drying, Signage, Handwash Aids or Devices Use Restriction (46.941(b)-(e))
--Hand soap and paper towels not at temporary handwash station, corrected so could wash my hands prior to inspecting.
- Preventing Contamination from Ice Used as a Coolant (46.286)
--Exact same issue with open bags of meat products stored in a picnic cooler of loose ice. All open product removed to plastic food containers with lids.
- Equipment in Good Repair & Proper Adjustment (46.671)
--You have a problem with the deep fryer, flames shooting out of the top of the front access door. Owner stated it's from the high thermostat setting of the fryer. Wrong, that is not normal at any setting, make corrections / have unit serviced immediately.
- 3 Pa.C.S.A Secs. 6501-6510 (FEC)
--Food facility operator failed to post an original, valid Food Employee Certification in a location conspicuous to the consumer. Checked last years report, owner's certificate valid through 12/11/17, MUST BE POSTED / on-site at fair setups.
